🎵 Santa’s Harmonica Jam

A Heartbeat of the Christmas in July Festival 🎄🪕

Every July, when the snow has long melted and the days stretch warm and golden, something magical stirs in the heart of Santa’s Village. It’s not sleigh bells or toy drills—it’s the toe-tapping, soul-lifting sound of harmonicas echoing beneath the Great Fir Tree Stage. That can only mean one thing: Santa’s Harmonica Jam is back!

This beloved tradition, now a centerpiece of the Christmas in July Festival, started with a single note—played quietly one summer evening by Santa himself. Inspired by young Penny Tootle and the growing harmonica craze among the elves, Santa dusted off his old harmonica and joined the village in a musical revival that’s only grown louder, livelier, and more joyful each year.

What to Expect at the Jam:

  • 🎶 An Open-Air Concert featuring Santa and his merry band of harmonica-playing elves

  • 🪗 Jam Sessions with guest appearances by the Elf Harmonica Club, Shoe Elf Quartet, and the Northern Skies Symphony rhythm section

  • 🎁 Musical Toy Demonstrations, with harmonica-crafted instruments and rhythm toys on display

  • 🌭 Festival Foods including rootbeer floats, candied nuts, and Santa’s famous grilled gingerbread sandwiches

  • 🎤 Sing-Alongs Under the Stars, ending with Santa’s harmonica rendition of “Silent Night”—a tune said to make even the fir trees sway in time

For Visitors and Locals Alike: Whether you’re a lifelong resident of Dromstad or just ferrying in from Ainslo for the weekend, this is your chance to experience the true musical spirit of the North Pole. Bring your harmonica (or borrow one at the gate), grab a cup of peppermint cider, and join in the joy.

Because at Santa’s Harmonica Jam, it’s not about playing perfectly.
It’s about playing together.
